These terms & conditions regulate the use of the services Lawless provides, and you the Customer, user.


The Customer is either a person or company that registers its name, contact information and creates a user account with Lawless. A user is a person who is a customer or who operates on behalf of a legal person who is a customer. The user also consents to Lawless's Privacy Policy by signing up for an account.

2. Description of the service

Lawless provides an AI-powered service to help you navigate government services in Norway. The service is operated through a web application containing all user details and other information about the service. These terms of use are available on the website lawless.no.


IMPORTANT: Lawless is not a legal service and does not provide legal advice. The services offered are not a substitute for professional legal counsel. While we assist with navigating government processes, we do not provide legal representation or advice regarding your specific legal rights or situations. For legal matters, please consult with a qualified attorney.


The service consists of:

  • AI assistance with navigating Norwegian government services
  • Document management related to government applications
  • Personalized guidance based on your specific situation

3. Using the services

Creating and using the Lawless application requires the user to provide their name, email address, and potentially other relevant information. The user is responsible for filling in correct information.


User accounts must not be shared between multiple people. Each user must have their own account.


In the event of suspected abuse of the user account, Lawless has the right to close the account and terminate the agreement with immediate effect.

4. System requirements

The Lawless service is available on the following browsers:


  • Latest two versions of Safari
  • Latest two versions of Chrome
  • Latest two versions of Firefox
  • Latest two versions of Edge

System requirements may be updated without notice. Lawless will notify you at least 30 days in advance if we plan to stop supporting previously supported browsers.

5. Service availability

Lawless will use commercially reasonable efforts to make the service available with a monthly uptime percentage of at least 99.5%, not including planned maintenance.


Service interruptions are categorized as:


  • Critical: All or significant parts of the service are unavailable. Resolution time: One business day.
  • Serious: The service works but with severely limited functionality. Resolution time: Three business days.
  • Minor: Non-critical functions are unavailable with minimal impact. Resolution as soon as practicable.

Planned maintenance may occur up to 10 times per year. We'll notify you at least 5 business days in advance, and will schedule maintenance outside normal business hours (09:00-17:00 CET).

6. Your data

You own all data, information, and material you upload to the service. Lawless acts as a data processor for any personal data you provide according to the GDPR.


Lawless will only process your data to provide the service, including support and maintenance. We may use anonymized data to improve our AI algorithms.


Lawless will never access your data without your approval, except when required by law. If our agreement ends, you can request an export of your data within 30 days.

7. Intellectual property

The Lawless service, including all software, design, and algorithms, remains the property of Lawless. Your use of the service doesn't transfer any intellectual property rights to you.


You may not modify, reverse-engineer, or decompile the service. All Lawless logos and branding are protected.


When you provide feedback on our service, you grant Lawless permission to use that feedback to improve our services without compensation.

8. Communication

Lawless may contact you through email or in-app notifications to:


  • Provide information about your account
  • Notify you about service changes
  • Send product updates and newsletters

You can opt out of marketing communications at any time.

9. Changes to terms

Lawless is constantly working to improve our service. This may result in changes to these terms.

10. Conflict resolution

These terms of use are regulated by Norwegian law. The venue for any disputes is Oslo Tingrett.
